Erik Dresser enters his fourth season with the Oregon State women's rowing program.
Dresser is the program's rigger with responsibilities that include maintaining the team's equipment and the boathouse as well as the transportation of boats and equipment to events.
Dresser began his career at Oregon State as a rower in 2000. Over the duration of his collegiate rowing career, Dresser earned two letters in 2001 and 2003 for the Beavers. In 2003, he was selected as OSU's team captain.
Dresser graduated from Oregon State in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science. He was a Pac-10 All-Academic first team selection in 2001 and 2003.
After completing his time as an Oregon State student-athlete, Dresser worked under Kjell Oswald as a graduate assistant coach for OSU's men's rowing team. During that time, Dresser coached the Junior Varsity 8+, the 2-, and the Second Novice 8+. In this position, he also learned the basic boat maintenance and care of the rowing facility that makes him a valuable asset to the Beavers each season.
