Kelly Kerkvliet will be a volunteer assistant coach starting with the 2023-24 season. She was an assistant coach in 2013-14 and from 2016-17 through 2020-21 before being promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2021-22 season.

Kerkvliet competed for the Oregon State women’s golf team from 2001-05 and was an assistant coach during the 2013-14 season.

Before returning to Oregon State in 2016, Kerkvliet worked as a graphic designer in the health care industry for two years. Prior to joining Oregon State as an assistant coach in 2013, she was the Director of Junior Golf for the Idaho Golf Association in Boise where she was responsible for the program’s budget and developed the Junior Golf Tour schedule of more than 50 events.

She also worked with more than 550 members of IGA Junior and their parents, and worked closely with the IGA Board of Directors, Rocky Mountain PGA and the First Tee of Idaho. Kerkvliet was the captain for the Idaho Girl’s Junior Americas Cup Team, which finished in a tie for seventh place in 2013, its best finish to date.

Prior to her stint with the Idaho Golf Association, Kerkvliet was an assistant golf professional at BanBury Golf Course in Boise for nine months where she instructed private and group lessons and clinics, while also coordinating the junior golf program.

After her graduation from Oregon State, Kerkvliet was the Director of Brand and Creative Services for the Boise Hawks Baseball Club from May 2006 to October 2012. During that time, she was responsible for developing and executing a marketing agenda and budget to increase awareness for the club.

Kerkvliet graduated from Oregon State in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and merchandising. She earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors following her senior season when she posted a season-best 76 at both the PING Invitational and Pac-10 Championship.

- Finished in second place at the NCAA Westfield Regional, the best-ever finish at NCAA Regionals in program history.
- The 17-under 847 at the NCAA Westfield Regional was the third best three-round team score in program history.
- Shot an 11-under 277 in the second round of the NCAA Westfield Regional, the lowest single-round score in program history.
- Advanced to the NCAA National Championships for the second time in program history (1998 was the other) and finished in a tie for 22nd place.
- Chayse Gomez advanced for an additional round of stroke play at the NCAA National Championships and finished in a tie for 10th place, the best-ever finish by an Oregon State women’s golfer at nationals.
- Chayse Gomez had a scoring average of 73.61, the seventh best in Oregon State single-season history. She had four Top 10 finishes, tied for the seventh most in Oregon State single-season history.
- Danique Stokmans had a scoring average of 74.27, the 13th best in Oregon State single-season history.
- Amanda Minni had a scoring average of 74.30 in 33 rounds, the 14th best in Oregon State single-season history.

- All five Oregon State golfers finished in the Top 25 at the Pac-12 Championship.
- Kelsey Webster finished tied for fifth at the Pac-12 Championship, Danique Stokmans finished fifth at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview, Chayse Gomez finished tied for sixth at the Silverado Showdown and Ellie Slama finished tied for sixth at the Dick McGuire Invitational.
- Ellie Slama (fifth, 73.19), Chayse Gomez (ninth, 73.96) and Kelsey Webster (10th, 74.04) all finished in the Top 10 on Oregon State’s single-season scoring average list.
- Ellie Slama earned All-Pac-12 recognition and concluded her remarkable career with the following Oregon State records: career scoring average (72.95), top-10 finishes in a season (7), lowest single-round score (6-under 66), lowest three-round score (11-under 205) and sub-par scores (46).
- Ellie Slama, Danique Stokmans, Madde Sund, Issy Taylor and Kelsey Webster were named All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
- All eight student-athletes on the roster were named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

- Advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the third consecutive year; it was the first time making it three straight years since 1999-2000-2001.
- Set the program’s single-season scoring average record (73.18).
- Won the team title at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown; it was the 12th team title in program history.
- Recorded seven top-five finishes in the 11 tournaments.
- Equaled the lowest single-round score in program history with a 10-under 278 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
- Posted the best three-round score in program history with a 26-under 838 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown; the previous record was a 14-under 850 at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in the spring of 2018.
- Ellie Slama broke her own Oregon State’s single-season scoring average record (71.69).
- Olivia Benzin (73.56) broke Oregon State’s senior scoring average record and Nicole Schroeder (74.48) set the program’s junior scoring average record.
- Ellie Slama became the first Oregon State women’s golfer selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team and the first named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month.
- Ellie Slama (first, 71.69), Olivia Benzin (third, 73.56) and Nicole Schroeder (ninth, 74.48) all finished in the top 10 on Oregon State’s single-season scoring average list.
- Ellie Slama (twice) and Nicole Schroeder equaled the lowest under-par score in Oregon State history with a 6-under.
- Ellie Slama won the individual title at the Trinity Forest Invitational.
- Ellie Slama (first, 72.21), Olivia Benzin (second, 74.20), Nicole Schroeder (third, 74.73) and Susie Cavanagh (fifth, 75.27) are in the top five on Oregon State’s career scoring list (must have played 40 rounds and two full seasons to qualify).
- Olivia Benzin, Susie Cavanagh, Amanda Minni, Mari Nishiura, Nicole Schroeder and Ellie Slama all received Pac-12 All-Academic recognition; the six selections were the most of any school in the Pac-12 and the most in one year in the history of the program (the previous school record was four in 2010).

- Recorded five consecutive top-5 finishes during the spring season.
- Ellie Slama broke Oregon State’s single-season scoring average record (72.79).
- Broke Oregon State’s senior (Susie Cavanagh 74.59), junior (Olivia Benzin 74.52) and freshman (Ellie Slama 72.79) single-season scoring average records.
- Ellie Slama (first, 72.79), Nicole Schroeder (third, 73.93), Olivia Benzin (fifth, 74.52) and Susie Cavanagh (seventh, 74.59) all finished in the top seven on Oregon State’s single-season scoring average list.
- Olivia Benzin and Nicole Schroeder both set Oregon State’s single record with a 6-under 66.
- Ellie Slama (Ron Moore Invitational) and Nicole Schroeder (NCAA Regionals) both won individual titles.
- Ellie Slama set Oregon State’s three-round record with an 11-under 205.
- Nicole Schroeder became the fourth Oregon State golfer to advance to NCAA Championships after shooting a 10-under 206 at NCAA Regionals.
- Olivia Benzin (74.56) and Nicole Schroeder (74.85) are 1-2 on Oregon State’s career scoring average list (must have played 40 rounds and two full seasons to qualify).
- Olivia Benzin, Susie Cavanagh and Nicole Schroeder all received Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention recognition.

- Set the school record for season scoring average (74.28).
- Won the title at the Rose City Collegiate, the 11th team title in program history.
- Recorded four top-5 finishes.
- Defeated Oregon at the Elite 8 Match Play.
- Finished ahead of Oregon at the Pac-12 Championship to earn a point in the Civil War Series.
- Finished in eighth place at the Pac-12 Championship, equaling their best finish at the conference tournament since 1998.
- Advanced to the NCAA Regional Championships for the second time since 2006 and the first time since 2012.
- Placed seventh at the NCAA Regionals, the highest finish ever for the program, and ahead of seven ranked teams, including No. 2 UCLA.
- Shot a 10-under 278 in the final round of the NCAA Regionals, five strokes better than the previous school record.
- Olivia Benzin set the Oregon State single-season scoring average record with a 73.62.
- Elyse Smidinger set the Oregon State single-round record with a 5-under 67.
- Susie Cavanagh became the third Oregon State golfer to advance to the NCAA National Championships as an individual (Kathleen Takaishi, 1999 and Anica Yoo, 2015).
- Two student-athletes earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors, as Elyse Smidinger was named to the Second Team and Olivia Benzin received Honorable Mention recognition.
