Chandler Morrison joined Oregon State University as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Men’s Basketball in May 2022.
Prior to OSU, Morrison spent more than two years at UC Irvine as the Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He oversaw the development and implementation of sports performance needs for the men’s basketball program, including strength and conditioning, nutrition and recovery aspects. He also worked closely with the women’s basketball, women’s golf, women’s tennis and cross country programs.
Morrison was a Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Utah men’s basketball team from December 2018 through November 2019. He spent nearly two years as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at 212 Degree Fitness from 2017-19.
From 2010-15 Morrison served as a Sergeant in the United State Marine Corps. While working at the White House and Camp David, he collaborated across multiple government agencies to provide security for foreign and domestic dignitaries. He also oversaw the day-to-day operations of 30-plus individuals to include their physical readiness.
The Manteca, CA native received his Master’s degree in exercise science from Liberty University in 2021 and his Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Utah in 2019.
Morrison and his fiancé, Hayli, have a daughter, Ava.
