Beavers Ready For NCAA National Championships In Carlsbad

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team will compete at the NCAA Division I National Championships beginning Friday at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
The NCAA National Championships include 30 teams and six individuals completing 54 holes of stroke play. The top 15 teams, along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team, then compete for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion.
The top eight teams then compete in match play with the team national championship to be decided on Wednesday, May 27.
This is the third time in the last four years Oregon State has earned a trip to the NCAA National Championships, all under head coach Dawn Shockley. The Beavers advanced to the NCAA National Championships one time in their first 47 years (1998). Oregon State finished 16th at the NCAA National Championships in 1998, tied for 22nd in 2023 and 22nd in 2024.

TEE TIMES: There will be tee times beginning at 6:30 a.m. for the first two rounds with morning and afternoon waves. Oregon State will start the first round on the 10th hole at 8:20 a.m. on Friday and begin the second round on the first hole at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday. The Beavers will be paired with Michigan State and Texas Tech both days. Tee times for Sunday's round will be adjusted based on the leaderboard after the first two days.
