May 23, 2026 | Women's Golf
CARLSBAD, Calif. – The Oregon State women's golf team is through 36 holes at the NCAA Division I National Championships after completing second-round play on Saturday.
The Beavers have posted a 24-over 300-300—600 at the par-72, 6,330-yard Omni La Costa Resort & Spa and are tied for 29th place heading into Sunday's third round.
The NCAA National Championships include 30 teams and six individuals completing 54 holes of stroke play. The top 15 teams, along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team, then compete for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion.
The top eight teams then compete in match play with the team national championship to be decided on Wednesday, May 27.
Oregon State will start Sunday's round at 1:40 p.m. on the first hole, and live scoring is available at this link.
Three Beaver golfers improved their second-round score from the opening day – Rebecca Kim, Kelly Hope and Kate Nakaoka – while Raya Nakao equaled her first-round score.
Kim carded a team-best 2-over 74 in the second round, a huge improvement from the 9-over 81 on the first day, which helped her move up the leaderboard. She had one birdie and 13 pars on Saturday.
