May 11, 2026 | Women's Soccer
CORVALLIS – Conner Golley has joined the Oregon State women's soccer staff in the role of assistant coach, head coach Caroline Kelly announced Monday.
Golley joins the Beavers after spending the 2025 season at Rhode Island. The Rams went 13-5-2 on the season, and narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament, falling to Dayton on penalty kicks in the Atlantic 10 championship game. Overall, Rhode Islands held opponents to 0.8 goals per game on the season and held 12 clean sheets.
"Conner brings an outstanding blend of energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for developing student-athletes, with a specialty in goalkeepers," Kelly said. "Throughout the hiring process, it was clear that he is someone who will connect deeply with our players while helping elevate the competitive environment within our program every single day. We are excited to welcome Conner to Oregon State Women's Soccer and look forward to the impact he will have on our team, culture, and future success."
Prior to his time at Rhode Island, Golley spent two seasons at St. Bonaventure, where he was on staff for both the men's and women's soccer programs. Working primarily with the goalkeepers, Golley helped develop one of the league's best keepers Chiara Gottinger into a 2023 Atlantic 10 All-Academic selection. He also worked with Jules Dechert, a two-time A-10 Defensive Player of the Week honoree.
Golley was a four-year member of the men's soccer team at Gannon University (Div. II). While at Gannon, he was a part of three regular season conference titles and made in elite eight appearance. He graduated with a degree in sports management in 2023.
A native of Allegany, N.Y., Golley was a standout player for Allegany-Limestone, graduating as the school and Section 6 record holder for shutouts.
