Oregon State Falls to No. 12 Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon State softball dropped its midweek matchup with the 12th-ranked Oregon Ducks, falling 7-2 at Jane Sanders Stadium.
Lici Campbell tallied her eighth multi-hit game of the season, finishing 2-3, and setup the Beavers' two-run sixth. Singling to lead off the inning, Ella Dardis came on as a pinch runner and scored alongside Paige Bambarger when an errant throw ended up at the wall in center field after Mya Harrison hit into a fielder's choice.
Morgan Howey was also 2-3, singling up the middle in the second inning and recording another base hit in the fourth. Harrison (1-3) and Jaeya Butler (1-4) rounded out a Beaver offense that finished Wednesday's game with two runs on seven hits, the Ducks recording two errors in the process.
Haydn Milley started her sixth game of the season against Oregon, allowing nine hits and four earned runs while striking out two of the 23 batters she faced. Bailey Murray entered in relief in the fifth inning, allowing two hits in the game's final 1.2 innings.
The Ducks scored three in the first, three in the fifth and one in the sixth to close the door on Wednesday's 7-2 result.
