Eight Beavers Qualify for NCAA West Regionals

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eight members of the Oregon State Track and Field Team will travel to Texas A&M to compete for a chance to move on to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
This is group of athletes brings OSU's total qualifiers sent up to 48 since the rebirth of the program in 2010.
Competition will start with Sara Sanders, Maryann Ackerman and Isabelle Esler competing in javelin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. After a day off, Katie Gelston will resume for the Beavs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in discus.
Oregon State will enter the weekend with eight athletes competing in six events. The top-12 finishers in each final will move on to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
