Trent Caraway equaled the Oregon State single-game record with three doubles in a 4-for-5 day against San Diego Friday as the Beavers prevailed 11-3 in the series opener. Nelson Keljo worked five scoreless in the longest outing of his career. Caraway doubled in the third, fourth and eighth innings and hit his first home run of the season in the sixth. He drove in three. The Beavers recorded 14 hits - six doubles - and seven walks against five San Diego pitchers.
