Gavin Turley hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning but Oregon State was unable to overcome Nebraska's early 7-0 lead in a 7-3 loss on Friday night. Turley went 2-for-4 and put the Beavers on the board with his fourth long ball of the season in the sixth. Easton Talt later drove in a run on a groundout in the seventh but that was the last of the Beavers' scoring in the loss. Eric Segura started and allowed seven hits and five runs in 4 1/3 innings to drop to 4-1 on the season.

• Oregon State's loss snapped the Beavers' win streak at eight games over Nebraska. Oregon State now owns a 10-2 advantage in the 12-game series thus far.
• Gavin Turley extended his hit streak to nine games where he is 14-for-36 with a home run, two doubles and five runs batted in.
