CORVALLIS, Ore. – Logan Hulon was named the WCC's Pitcher of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
The righty went 2-0 in three appearances over 16.2 innings as the Beavers had a 3-1 week, highlighted by a sweep of Montana. She had a 1.62 ERA with 23 strikeouts – including a career-high 12 in the series opener – to just nine hits, three runs yielded and a pair of walks.
Hulon kept the Montana offense in check during both of her starts, striking out a combined 20, did not give up a walk and allowed just seven hits across 14.0 frames thrown. In the finale, the graduate student was nearly perfect, allowed just one baserunner in the fourth inning that never advanced past first base.
The Beavers will be back in action against Oregon to resume the Rivalry Series on April 2nd at Kelly Field. First pitch against the Ducks is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
