
Beavers Claim Exhibition Win

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's basketball team returned to Gill Coliseum Saturday afternoon, claiming a 73-44 exhibition win over Western Oregon.
Yaak Yaak nearly posted a double-double, going to 10 points and eight rebounds on 5-for-9 shooting from the floor. Johan Munch led Oregon State in scoring, finishing his day with 13 points on 4-for-7 shooting.
Josiah Lake II filled the stat-sheet, coming up with seven points, seven rebounds and five assists. Keziah Ekissi had six points, six rebounds and four assists. Noah Amenhauser went 3-for-3 to end the afternoon with eight points.
Overall, the Beavers shot 47.4 percent from the floor and held the Wolves to 25.4 percent shooting. Eleven different Oregon State players scored in the contest.
The Beavers will open the 2025-26 season on Monday Nov. 3 when North Dakota State visits Gill Coliseum.
Oregon State jumped in front early, hitting seven of its first eight shots to open up a 17-3 lead five minutes into the contest. The Beavers extended the advantage to 25-6 at the under-12 media break. OSU led 39-16 at the intermission.
The Beavers extended the lead to 30 early in the second period. Oregon State maintained the lead from there, taking the win by 29.
