
Beavers Set for 2024 Home Debut

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Following three weeks on the road to start the 2024 campaign, the Oregon State volleyball team will open play at home with a pair before renewing the Rivalry Series. The Beavers will welcome Washington and Portland State to Gill Coliseum on Tuesday and Friday, respectively, before visiting Oregon in Eugene on Sunday.

• On Sunday in Eugene, the Beavers and Ducks will resume the rivalry for the 136th time. Despite the lone in-season meeting, the two sides capped the preseason with a scrimmage in Gill last month.

• Oregon State finished the Outrigger Invitational with an 0-2 mark, falling to Texas State in a neutral battle before dropping the road match to Hawaii.

• Oregon State will look to win its second home opener under Coach Behonick and for the seventh time in eight tries, including the abbreviated 2020-21 season. The lone loss in the stretch came in the 2021 opener.

• Two newcomers - Kalli Schoening and Zaria Thornton - have made their presence known among the league and are sitting in the top 10 for hitting percentage.

• Oregon State is the only school in the league with multiple in the top-seven.
