Rhoden Selected to NJCAA Hall of Fame

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State wrestling's assistant coach, Josh Rhoden, will be inducted to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame, as announced by the organization on Friday.
Prior to joining Chris Pendleton's staff in Corvallis, Rhoden led Clackamas Community College for 16 years, where he led the Cougars to five national championships. Under Rhoden's leadership, the Cougars had nine top-three finishes and never finished outside the top-seven. On 10 occasions, the Cougars claimed the West region title, including a stretch of five consecutive times from 2014-2018.
The four-time national coach of the year guided 148 national qualifiers, 101 All-Americans and 33 national finalists. Additionally, Rhoden led the Cougars to NJCAA Record for most points scored in a National Championship with 176.5 (2019)

He completed his tenure in Clackamas with a 169-36-2 mark, which is best in the school's history.
His impact to the Oregon State program was quick, as he helped lead the Beavers to the 2023 Pac-12 Championship on the strength of five individual champions.
