February 20, 2024 | Wrestling
CORVALLIS, Ore. – For a Pac-12-best fifth time this season, an Oregon State student-athlete has been named the league's Wrestler of the Week as announced by the conference.
Following his victory over then-No. 15 Nick Stemmet by major decision, Justin Rademacher has been tabbed as Wrestler of the Week. The freshman – a West Linn, Oregon, product – is No. 25 by FloWrestling and 28th in Intermat's latest poll.
In his first collegiate season, he's been a regular at the 197-pound slot and has tallied a trio of ranked wins including a pair by major decision.
Rademacher joins teammates – Gabe Whisenhunt (133), Brandon Kaylor (125), Trey Munoz (184) and Cleveland Belton (141) – as recipients of the league's weekly honor.
Oregon State finished a daunting schedule that had seven ranked opponents and is looking toward the 2024 Pac-12 Championships, that will be hosted inside Gill Coliseum next month.
