CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle and his staff announced Friday the addition of Liutauras Lelevicius, who will join the team for the upcoming season.
Lelevicius is a 6-foot-7 guard/forward out of Lithuania. Due the late recruitment and the extended NCAA review process that is a standard for similar international student-athletes, Lelevicius is still completing the necessary steps to finalize his initial eligibility status.

Lelevicius competed for Lithuania at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships, averaging 17.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game during the competition. He scored 21 points against Belgium in the quarterfinals, and tallied 20 points against Poland in the group phase. Overall, Lelevicius shot 41.6 percent from the floor and 94.3 percent from the free throw stripe.
"We're very excited to be adding Liutauras to our program," Tinkle said. "He's a mature kid with a ton of experience internationally and a complete skill set. He's got great size, and can shoot, handle the ball and pass – but above all Liutauras is a relentless competitor and a great addition to our squad."
The guard previously competed in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup in 2021, recording 7.4 points per game. He played the last season with Lietkabelis in the Lithuanian league, scoring in double-figures twice during the 2023-24 campaign.
"I chose to come to Oregon State University because of its environment and opportunities to improve both as a person and as a basketball player," Lelevicius said. "I was amazed by the facilities, coaching staff and teammates."
