
Beavers Set to Host Pacific

THE GAME: The Oregon State men's soccer team will return home on Friday to take on Pacific at Paul Lorenz Field. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m.

UP NEXT: Oregon State will hit the road next week to take on Saint Mary's in Moraga, Calif. Oregon State will return home on Oct. 18 for a matchup with Gonzaga.

- Fran Cortijo needs two assists to move into a tie for 10th on Oregon State's career list.
- Oregon State's players represent seven different countries (United States, Spain, Uganda, Argentina, Germany, Italy and Trinidad and Tobago) and four different continents (North America, South America, Europe and Africa).
- Greg Dalby became the second coach in Oregon State history to lead the team to the postseason in his first season in charge. His 11 victories are also tied for the most wins by an OSU head coach in his debut season.
- A total of 10 different Oregon State players found the net last season, with seven of them returning for the 2024 campaign, led by Dante Williams who netted seven goals in 2023.
- Sergi Solans has scored five goals over his last five games.Â
- Fabian Straudi has at least one point in five-straight games, matching the fourth-longest streak in program history. Should Straudi tally a goal or assist on Friday, he would tie Garin Gregory (1988) and Logan Farrington (2023) for the second-longest point-streak in program history. Ryan Johnson set the program record in 2003, recording a point in seven-straight games.
- Nicklas Lund was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week.
