
Five Beavers Place in Top-25 in Salem

SALEM, Ore. – Oregon State displayed talent and promise at the Charles Bowles Invitational with five top-25 finishes on Saturday.

"Good day for us today. Really proud of us sticking our nose in the competition. We were able to get some real positive useful information for our team moving forward, and I'm looking forward to the second half of our competitive slate," Oregon State head coach Louie Quintana said.

Grad transfer Delaney Griffin led the charge in tenth, followed by three underclassmen among those competing for the Beavs: Noemi Lundgren (16th), Teaghan Knox (19th) and Erin Cosgrove (22nd). Katie Kopec (18th) raced unattached and recorded the fourt-best finish of the day among Beavers.

Hannah Hernandez (59th) rounded out the Oregon State runners, who finished second among the Division I teams competing on Saturday.

Freshmen Gracie Buzzell (51st) and Jenna O'Beirne (57th) and sophomore Eliza Eckman (41st) picked up valuable experience racing unattached along with Kopec. Â
