Trip to Salem Upcoming for XC
September 29, 2023 | Women's Cross Country
CORVALLIS – Oregon State heads north on I-5 for its next cross country meet, motoring to Salem for the Charles Bowles Invite, hosted by Willamette.
Â
The Beavs will compete with three freshmen, an offseason transfer addition and one returner among their five uniformed participants on Saturday. Oregon State will also have four unattached runners in the field, getting a group some collegiate experience during potential redshirt seasons. The women's race begins at 9:20 a.m. with a 5K map that takes runners all over Bush's Pasture Park.
Â
Live results are available here and course maps can be found here. Admission is free. Spectators are asked to be cautious near the course and to avoid interfering with participants. Although most of the course will take runners through Bush's Pasture Park, the race will finish inside McCulloch Stadium.
Â
OSU is coming off a solid Dellinger Invitational in which Kaylee Mitchell picked up the Beavers' first individual win of the season. Mitchell was named the NCAA Track and Field Runner of the Week for her performance.
