Oregon State Selected for IRA Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's rowing team is officially headed to the IRA National Championships, the Intercollegiate Rowing Association announced Wednesday.
The Beavers have competed in every IRA Championship since 2013, and have finished as high as fourth at the event (2002). Racing begins at 5 a.m. PT/8 a.m ET. on Friday, January 2.
IRA Championships will take place June 2-4 at Mercer Lake, N.J. The Beavers will have three boats in the competition: their Varsity 8, JV8 and 3V8.
Oregon State placed third in the team standings at Pac-12 Championships on Sunday, the third-straight year the Beavers have finished in the three-spot. The OSU Varsity 8 and JV8 both finished fourth in the event, while the Freshman 8, Varsity 4 and 3V8 both placed third.
