Travis Bazzana went 5-for-7 with five RBI and Mason Guerra and Micah McDowell each recorded three hits as Oregon State defeated UCLA, 21-5, Sunday in Los Angeles. The Beavers scored 18 of their 21 runs from the sixth inning on, including nine in the ninth. Guerra drove in four and McDowell plated three as OSU tallied 19 hits as a team. Tanner Smith, Gavin Turley and Kyle Dernedde all had two hits.

• Travis Bazzana's five hits Sunday set a career-high for the sophomore. They also tied a season-high by a Beaver this season, with Micah McDowell and Garret Forrester posting the first two.
• Bazzana recorded 10 hits in 19 at bats with 11 RBI and five extra-base hits - including three home runs - in four games last week. That included a 1-for-3 night against Portland in Hillsboro, with a go-ahead solo home run in the sixth inning.
• Oregon State is 7-1 on Tuesdays this season, including a 5-1 record at home.
