Kaylor, Olmos Named NWCA Scholar All-Americans

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State's Brandon Kaylor and Mateo Olmos were named Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Friday.
The pair were instrumental in leading the Beavers to the 24th Pac-12 team championship in program history this past season and each won their respective title for their weight class.
Kaylor, a marketing major, tallied a 23-9 record in the 2022-23 season. Olmos, a graduate student studying interdisciplinary studies, went 15-9 in his final season.
Both Kaylor and Olmos clinched the Pac-12's automatic berths to the NCAA Championships at 125 lbs. and 174 lbs., respectively.
