Rowing Set to Host CRASH Beavs and Spring Launch Dinner on February 25th
February 10, 2023 | Men's Rowing, Women's Rowing
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State rowing will celebrate the launch of the 2023 spring racing season on Saturday, February 25 with the annual CRASH Beavs and Spring Launch Dinner.
Registration for both events is available here.
All alumni, families and fans are invited to gather for a day full of rowing that features current student-athletes and honors the history of both programs.
The day will begin with the CRASH Beavs erg competition at Truax Indoor Center where athletes will compete in a 2K erg race over a series of heats. Fans will have a great opportunity to come cheer on the Beavs and get a look at how hard the athletes have been working in anticipation of spring racing season.
Alumni are then invited to participate in a 2K race of their own or join with a group of former teammates for a 2K erg relay.

The event features a silent auction, and for the first time, a paddle raise. The new addition of the paddle raise will take place near the end of the evening, raising funds for both programs in multiple areas to benefit the student-athletes and provide necessary tools for success both on and off the water.
With the paddle raise, donors do not have to be at the event to participate! The online auction platform will have the ability to take virtual paddle raise donations from any location. More details about the paddle raise and the online auction will be provided in a later communication.
Space is limited, and please note that registering for the event does not automatically register one for the online auction or paddle raise. An opportunity to complete those steps will occur closer to the event.
