Pac-12 Tabs Kaylor as Wrestler of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State 125-pounder, Brandon Kaylor, was named the Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Ranked No. 16 in the nation at 125, Kaylor defeated Iowa's Drake Ayala by decision at 7-6 in this past Sunday's dual against the Hawkeyes. The win marked Kaylor's first ranked win of the season, as Ayala was 11th in last week's poll.
Following his win, Kaylor jumped two places from 18th in Intermat's rankings and climbed six spots in FloWrestling's polls (26th to 20th) this week.
The Bonney Lake, Wash., product joins Gabe Whisenhunt (133) as the second Beaver to have Pac-12 honors this season through the league's three nods so far.
Kaylor and the Beavers will return to competition next week in Las Vegas for the annual Cliff Keen Invitational.
