Beavs Head East to Start 2023-24 Season

The season opens with the Carolina Duals – a three-dual day from the campus of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where the Beavers will face Queens (N.C.), Greensboro and No. 15 North Carolina. Concluding the east coast trip on Saturday, the Beavers will venture to Salem, Virginia to take part in the Southeastern Open.

• Oregon State open the 2023-24 season on the east coast with action in the Carolina Quad Duals and the Southeastern Open.
Opening Things Up
• Oregon State will look to win its second season opener in four tries in the Chris Pendleton era.
• 2021-22 started with a 23-12 win over a North Carolina opponent, Campbell.
• It is the first season since 2017-18 that the Beavs will open a campaign in North Carolina when they battled App State and Duke.
Last Season's Lookback
• Oregon State won its 24th Pac-12 team title, had five win Pac-12 individual championships and saw seven make the NCAAs with Trey Muñoz finishing as a National Semifinalist. It marked the first Pac-12 title of the Pendleton era.

The Matchups
• Oregon State and North Carolina will meet for the seventh time and first since 1990. The Beavers will look to break a five-match skid against the Tar Heels.

• Queens and Greensboro are the seventh and eighth programs the Beavers will have faced from the Tar Heel State. In the past, OSU has faced: App State, Campbell, Duke, East Carolina, North Carolina and NC State.
