CORVALLIS – Oregon State women's basketball signee Timea Gardiner was named the MVP of Team Flight at this weekend's Jordan Brand Classic, which took place in Chicago, Ill.

"Playing with some of the top talent in the nation has been a privilege," Gardiner said. "It's amazing. There is so much talent out here, playing the game we love. It was a lot of fun."
Gardiner finished with eight points in the contest.
The forward, who was named a McDonald's All-American in addition to her Jordan Brand recognition, was selected as a Naismith All-American and Player of the Year semi-finalists this season. She is a three-time All-State selection, and led Fremont High School to Region Championships in each of her four seasons with the program.
