The Game
Oregon State plays two on Sunday to cap its first weekend in Arizona. The Beavers take on Gonzaga at 11 a.m. PT (12 p.m. in Arizona), followed by New Mexico at 4 p.m. PT (5 p.m. in Arizona).

TJ Wheeler drove in three runs in his second game as a Beaver and Justin Boyd and Garret Forrester tallied two RBI apiece as No. 11 Oregon State defeated Gonzaga, 13-5, Saturday at Surprise Stadium. The offense scored in five of its eight turns at the plate Saturday, putting up five in the sixth and three more in the eighth. OSU also scored two in both the first and fourth innings.
Most Ever
• The 34 runs in the first two games of the season are the most ever in the program's history. That surpasses the 1935 and 1960 teams which totaled 33 over their first two games.
• It's the first time OSU has scored in double figures in back-to-back games to open a season since 2006 when defeating Nevada (12-4) and Arizona State (11-0).
• The Beavers have scored 10 or more in three straight to open a season just once in program history, in 1924.
