- Oregon State makes its final road trip of the 2022 regular season when the Beavers visit Arizona State Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 11:15 a.m. PT (12:15 p.m. in Tempe).

- The OSU defense has limited its last five opponents to 306 rush yards on 115 carries - an average of 2.67 per attempt. Oregon State ranks first in the Pac-12, allowing an average of 107.1 yards on the ground per game.
- The Beavers have held opponents to under 400 yards in nine of the team's 10 games this season. Three have been held to under 300.
- Damien Martinez has rushed for more than 100 yards in four straight games, becoming the first OSU true freshman to do so since Jacquizz Rodgers in 2008.

- Tre'Shaun Harrison, Chance Nolan and Jack Colletto all scored for the Beavers, who won a 24-10 matchup in Corvallis last season.

- The Beavers improved to 10-1 at Reser Stadium since the start of the 2021 season.Â
- OSU held Cal to 9 yards rushing, an opponents' fewest since Arizona tallied 9 in 2007.
- The Golden Bears also tallied 156 yards overall, the fewest allowed by an OSU defense under head coach Jonathan Smith.
- OSU has now held an opponent to under 160 yards 10 times since 2000. Seven have been conference opponents.
- The Beavers have also held teams to 10 yards or less rushing seven times since 2000. All seven have been against conference teams.
- Cal also gained just 10 first downs, the fewest since OSU held Weber State to nine in 2015. Opponents have totaled 10 or fewer 14 times since 2000.
- The OSU defense did not allow a touchdown for the first time since shutting out Idaho in the third game of the 2021 season. It's the first time in conference play since a 34-6 win over UCLA on Nov. 8, 2008.
- OSU's 36:38 time of possession marked the team's 14th-most since 1997, and the second-highest under Smith, trailing only 36:47 against Stanford in 2021.
- The Beavers have allowed just 20 first-half points in their last four games.

Gould Does It Again
- Anthony Gould returned a 55-yard punt for a touchdown against California, his second of the year. His first came in week three against Montana State.
- Gould is the first Beaver with multiple punt return TDs in the same season since Sammie Stroughter tallied three in 2006.
- Gould is the lone Pac-12 player to return a punt for a score this season. He is one of just four nationally with two, joining UCF's Quadric Bullard, Louisiana's Eric Garror and TCU's Derius Davis.
- Gould has accumulated 260 punt return yards this season, the first Beaver to surpass 200 since Stroughter finished with 359 in 2008. Those 260 yards are third-most nationally in 2022.
