Shawn Lu, Spencer Tibbits Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Shawn Lu was selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team and Spencer Tibbits was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team, by a vote of the conference coaches on Thursday.
This marks the first time an Oregon State men's golfer has made the All-Pac-12 First Team since Alex Moore in 2011. This is the first time two Beavers have received all-conference recognition in the same year since 2010 when Diego Velasquez made the first team and Mike Barry was selected to the second team.
Lu, a senior from Honolulu, Hawai'i, leads the Beavers with a scoring average of 71.19 this season. He has recorded three-straight top-10 finishes heading into the NCAA Regionals, giving him eight total in his Oregon State career.
His best finish was a tie for sixth place at the Duck Invitational and his best score was a 6-under 65 in the first round of the Thunderbird Collegiate. Lu finished in a team-best tie for eighth place at the Pac-12 Championship.
Tibbits, a senior from Vancouver, Wash., has a scoring average of 71.50 this season, the second best on the team. He has two top-10 finishes and has carded eight sub-par scores, including a season-best 4-under 68 in the second round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate and the third round of the Pac-12 Championship.
He earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention recognition in 2019 when he posted a scoring average of 71.65 with four top-10 finishes and 17 rounds in red figures.
