Gavin, Wilson Named Pac-12 All-Conference

SAN FRANCISCO - For the first time in over a decade, two Oregon State men's rowers have been named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team, announced by the conference Thursday afternoon.
Tristan Gavin and Jacoby Wilson competed in all six races with the Varsity 8 boat, including at the Pac-12 Championships on May 16, to earn the honor.
Gavin is near the finish of his second season with Beaver rowing. Competing in three races during his first, the junior saw his first races with the varsity crew just this year.
A native of Lake Oswego, Ore., Wilson is in his third year with OSU rowing. Competing in a total of 17 eight-man races, Wilson has participated as a rower for the varsity crew in all but one race. The senior added to his experience with two races in the V4+ boat throughout the 2019-20 season.
It is the first all-conference accolade for both Gavin and Wilson.
