Cooper Hjerpe struck out a career-high 11 as he stymied the Arizona offense in a 3-1 win Saturday night at Goss Stadium. He held the Wildcats to two hits and a run in seven innings for his third win of the season. Ryan Ober drove in a run in the first and Jake Dukart tripled home two in the third inning for the game two victory.

• Troy Claunch tied a career-high with three hits in Saturday's win and in doing so, extended his hit streak to 13 games.
• It is the longest by a Beaver this season.
