Joe Casey went 3-for-5 with a triple, home run and seven runs batted in to pace Oregon State to a 13-3 win and series sweep of Washington Monday night in Seattle. Troy Claunch also had three hits for the Beavers, who finished with 17 as a team. Will Frisch picked up his second win of the season after limiting the Huskies to four hits and a run in five innings. He struck out seven.
Against Portland
• Oregon State is meeting Portland for the 233rd time Tuesday. Tuesday's game is also the 104th meeting at Portland.
• The Beavers have won eight of the last 10 meetings and 30 of the last 32. Prior to a loss in 2016, Oregon State had won a school-record 25 consecutive games versus the Pilots. That streak had started in 2007.
• Tuesday's meeting is the first at Joe Etzel Field since 2017. The teams played at Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro in 2018 and 2019.
