Beavers Set for NCAA West Regional

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's cross country team will travel to Sacramento, Calif. for the NCAA West Regional on Friday. The women's 6K is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course.Â

Last Time Out
The Beavers took sixth with 156 points at the Pac-12 Championships on Oct. 29 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Redshirt sophomores Kaylee Mitchell and Grace Fetherstonhaugh earned All-Conference accolades for their performances. Mitchell finished sixth with a time of 20:51.7 to earn First-Team All-Conference honors, while Fetherstonhaugh clocked a time of 21:07.5 to place 14th and earn Second-Team All-Conference honors.Â

Last Time at the NCAA West Regional
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the NCAA did not host regional meets during the 2020-21 season. Oregon State advanced to the NCAA Championships after finishing fourth with 100 points Pac-12 Championships on Mar. 5, 2021.Â

The last time the Beavers were at the NCAA West Regional was Nov. 15, 2019. OSU took seventh in the team standings with 248 points. Lexi Reed was the first Beaver to cross the finish line with a time of 20:37.1 to finish 28th. Audrey Lookner took 47th with a time of 20:57.8 and Haley Wolf landed 50th with a time of 21:00.0.
Oregon State's highest team finish at the NCAA West Regional was recorded on Nov. 9, 2018 in Sacramento, Calif., when the Beavers placed sixth in the overall standings with 196 points. Juliana Mount earned the highest individual finish for the Beavers that season as well, landing 12th with a time of 19:54.5.
