• Oregon State, after taking a week off, heads to Iowa to face the top-ranked Hawkeyes. The match gets underway at 12 p.m. PT (2 p.m. in Iowa) and will air on the Big Ten+ subscription service.
• Iowa is the No. 1 team in the country per the National Wrestling Coaches Association rankings. The Hawkeyes received all 14 first-place votes. OSU is receiving two votes.
• Iowa holds a 6-1 all-time advantage in the series, with the teams last meeting in 2012. The then-fifth ranked Hawkeyes won, 22-14, in a National Dual matchup in Ames, Iowa. Scott Sakaguchi, RJ Pena, Taylor Meeks and Clayton Jack were all victorious during that matchup.
Last Time Out
• Oregon State took a week off after traveling to Manheim, Pa., to compete against Penn State and then in the Journeymen/Defense Soap Collegiate Classic.
• Brandon Kaylor and Hunter Willits won bouts in a loss to Penn State.
• Willits, Devan Turner, Grant Willits, Cory Crooks, Mason Reiniche, Mateo Olmos and Jackson McKinney all went 2-1 on the second day of the trip.

• Grant Willits, Hunter Willits and Mateo Olmos are all 4-2 after two weekends of action this season.
• Of the three, only Hunter Willis has won a bout via extra points, going 1-0 thanks to a major decision.
• Olmos was the Pac-12 wrestler of the week after defeating two ranked opponents on Nov. 6 versus Campbell and Lehigh. He became just the seventh Beaver to earn the honor since the Pac-12 began the award in 2014.
Pendleton Versus Iowa
• Saturday's meet marks head coach Chris Pendleton's first against Iowa leading a program. He did, however, square off with the Hawkeyes as a wrestler at Oklahoma State.
• In 2003, he defeated No. 4 Tyler Nixt of Iowa twice to capture the conference title at 174 points. That included a victory in the title bout via a 4-2 decision when the bout went into sudden victory.
Beaver Points
• Cory Crooks enters Saturday having won two consecutive bouts while Hunter Willits has won three of his last four.
