Beavers Set to Host Arizona State and Arizona

CORVALLIS, Ore. - For the first time in 20 days, Oregon State women's soccer returns home to Lorenz Field, hosting Arizona State and Arizona. The Beavers battle the Sun Devils on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. before taking on the Wildcats on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. Live stats and a live stream will be available for both matches. Tickets for both matches are available for purchase ranging from $4-$6.Â

The Beavers are returning from a road trip to California, where they battled No. 7 Stanford and California. On Sept. 30, Oregon State defeated nationally ranked Stanford, 2-1, in Stanford, Calif., for the first time in program history. Freshman Aaliyah Bluett scored her first collegiate goal in the 42nd minute of action, picking off a pass between two Stanford players and slipped a ball past the Cardinal goalie during a breakaway. Junior Sophie Conrad scored the game-winner for OSU in the 74th minute off senior Laura Galceran's corner.Â

In Berkeley, Calif., the Beavers fell to Cal, 2-1, after giving up the deciding goal in the 81st minute. Brianna McReynolds scored Oregon State's sole goal in the 33rd minute of action from a free kick 25 yards out.
