Fifteen Beaver Gymnasts Named as Scholastic All-Americans

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Fifteen Oregon State gymnasts were named as Scholastic All-Americans the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced Tuesday. In addition, the Beavers were recognized for their team grade point average of 3.612 for the 2019-20 academic year.
The Oregon State scholastic All-Americans include seniors Halli Briscoe, Lacy Dagen, Lena Greene, Jaime Law, Maela Lazaro, Isis Lowery and Alyssa Minyard. It marks the fourth time Briscoe, Dagen, Greene, Law and Lazaro have been named as Scholastic All-Americans, and the second for Minyard. Both Dagen and Greene have been granted another year of eligibility and will return to compete at Oregon State for the 2021 season.
In addition, juniors Savanna Force and Lexie Gonzales garnered their third awards. Sophomores Madi Dagen, Alexa McClung and Kristina Peterson each secured scholastic All-America honors, the second such awards for Dagen and Peterson. All three of the Beavers' freshmen, Kayla Bird, Jenna Domingo and Jane Poniewaz each earned their first recognitions.
