16 Beaver Gymnasts Named Scholastic All-Americans

CORVALLIS, Ore. – 16 Oregon State gymnasts have named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, it was announced Wednesday.
The WCGA recognizes academic accomplishments of collegiate gymnasts each season, and the criteria for being named a WCGA Scholastic All-American is a 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for the previous school year.
Across 86 total institutions, OSU ranked No. 24 for percentage of athletes earning recognition, as 16 student-athletes accounted for over 84% of the roster. As a team, OSU posted a combined 3.58 GPA.
Wednesday's announcement marks the eighth-consecutive season that the program has had 14 or more student-athletes recognized by the WCGA.
