June 08, 2020 | Women's Rowing
SAN FRANCISCO – Fifteen Oregon State women's rowers were named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Conference on Monday.
To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a 3.30 cumulative GPA and have a minimum one-year residency at the institution. The Honor Roll is a new initiative by the league that takes the place of the former academic first team and second teams.
The Beavers' 15 women's rowing honorees include Sierra Bishop (Business Administration), Georgia Carroll (Physics), Bailey Daniels (Fisheries and Wildlife), Abbie Glickman (Physics), Holly Golightly (Crop and Soil Science), Callan Jackman (Psychology), AnnaRuth Neville (Kinesiology), Mackenzie Rice (Psychology), Hannah Robinson (Biology), Amelia Sabin (Kinesiology), Jane Smeins (Environmental Science), Scout Sutton (Environmental Economics), Hannah Walker (Animal Science), Abigail Watts (Management) and Claire Williams (Environmental Science).
Four rowers – Daniels, Rice, Sutton and Watts – were each honored with their third Pac-12 academic award in their careers while Jackman and Williams were both recognized the second time.
The Spring Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in the Conference-sponsored sports of baseball, beach volleyball, men's and women's golf, lacrosse, men's and women's rowing, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field.
