Senior Spotlight: Karla Calderon
May 29, 2020 | Softball
Corvallis – With the 2020 season being cut short, Oregon State softball didn't have the chance to celebrate the senior class and everything they had accomplished. In lieu of an on-field celebration, the team is recognizing one senior, Karla Calderon, for everything she accomplished in the Orange and Black.
Karla Calderon stats:
Calderon transferred to Oregon State prior to her junior season from El Camino Community College. She chose OSU because of the facilities the school offered, the fact that Corvallis reminded her of the small town she was raised and because of how beautiful the campus and town were. The Ripon, Calif. native will graduate with degree in business administration.
Calderon will not be one of the seniors returning for the 2021 season. Three other seniors, Nerissa Eason, Trystan Melancon and Fallon Molnar, have decided to exercise the additional year of eligibility awarded by the NCAA.
