Bishop, Larkin Selected to USRowing U23 Selection Camp

PRINCETON, N.J. – While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of sporting events throughout the world this spring, USRowing chose to recognize athletes who were selected to participate in the 2020 Under 23 National Team Selection Camps this summer.
Bishop, a sophomore from Wilsonville, Ore., and Larkin, a sophomore from Burns, Tenn., both raced in the Beavers' Second Varsity 8 at the 2019 Pac-12 Championships helping their crew to a fifth-place finish, OSU's best finish in the 2V8 since 2009.
The duo moved up to the Varsity 8 for three races during the fall season. In Oregon State's lone spring race, a dual against Stanford, Larkin raced in the 6-seat of the V8, while Bishop crewed the 6-seat of the 2V8 with both boats earning second-place finishes.
Bishop and Larkin were among 42 athletes scheduled to vie for spots on the Under 23 National Team that would have competed at the 2020 World Rowing Under 23 Championships this August in Bled, Slovenia.
