• Oregon State (7-2) hosts Pac-12 rival Arizona State (4-3) and SEC foe, No. 9 LSU (3-2) Saturday morning in the first event of the day inside Gill Coliseum. The meet is slated for a 11:30 a.m. start.

HONORING AMY DURHAM
The Oregon State gymnastics program, along with family and teammates, will honor former gymnast Amy Durham prior to Saturday's meet. Durham, a five-time All-American and the 1993 NCAA floor exercise champion, passed away in July. Durham lettered for the Beavers from 1990-93, was a Academic All-American as a senior and was inducted to the Oregon State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004.
COACH CHAPLIN TAKES LEAVE
Last Thursday, head coach Tanya Chaplin announced she would take an indefinite leave of absence due to health-related issues. Associate head coach Michael Chaplin will fill in as the acting head coach during her absence.
   "It is difficult to step away for a period of time, but it is the best way to continue what I love to do in the future, and that is coaching," Chaplin said. "I'd like to thank Scott Barnes, Marianne Vydra, my team and staff for their support throughout this process. I know the program is in good hands while I focus my energy on healing. I look forward to supporting this team, along with Beaver Nation, in every way I can while I'm away. Go Beavs!"
AGAINST THE SUN DEVILS
• OSU holds a 68-22-2 series lead against Arizona State and are 22-4 against the Sun Devils in Corvallis.
• The Beavers have won the last 12 meetings dating back to 2014 including a dual meet in Tempe, 196.650-196.625, and again at Pac-12 Championships, 196.600-196.400.
AGAINST THE TIGERS
• The Beavers trail the series with LSU, 7-15-1, but are 2-1-1 against the Tigers at Gill Coliseum.
• Oregon State has lost the last six meetings between the teams dating back to 2013 including a dual loss at Baton Rouge last season, 198.150-196.375.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
• There are 20 gymnasts on the 2020 Oregon State gymnastics team and the vast majority have earned spots in the competitive lineup on a regular basis. The Beavers have used 15 gymnasts to complete their 24 routines in four out of five meets with the exception coming at Sacramento State, when they only used 14.
• Two gymnasts - Lena Greene and Jane Poniewaz - suffered season-ending injuries prior to the season starting.
EVENT TITLES
• Just five meets into the season, the Beavers have already captured 13 event titles.
• On Sunday, three different OSU gymnasts secured event titles. Madi Dagen captured her first title of the season with a career-high 9.90 on the vault, Lacy Dagen nabbed the beam title with a career-best 9.975 and Isis Lowery won the floor title with a personal-mark of 9.975 as well.
• OSU gymnasts snagged a couple more titles at Arizona with Lacy Dagen and Isis Lowery scoring 9.850 to tie for top honors on the beam while Kaitlyn Yanish got her team-best fourth event title scoring 9.925 on the floor.
• Maela Lazaro earned her first event title of the season tying her career-best with a 9.925 on the beam at Sacramento State. Kaitlyn Yanish secured her second straight floor title with a 9.90 on the event as well.
• OSU gymnasts swept the competition in the Beavs' home opener against Seattle Pacific and Centenary. Kaitlyn Yanish scored 9.850 on the vault, Halli Briscoe went for a 9.850 on the bars, and Isis Lowery secured the beam title with a 9.875. Yanish and Lowery each tallied scores of 9.925 to tie for top honors on the floor exercise.
• Sabrina Gill swiped the uneven bars title at the season-opening Critique Classic with a 9.80.
SUPER SENIORS
• OSU's eight seniors consisting of Halli Briscoe, Lacy Dagen, Destinee Davis, Sabrina Gill, Jaime Law, Maela Lazaro, Isis Lowery and Alyssa Minyard has combined to hit 39 out of 41 routines thus far in 2020.
• Isis Lowery is tied for the team-lead with 15 routines performed and hasn't yet missed a routine. Dagen (10-10), Davis (6-6), Briscoe (5-5) and Minyard (5-5) have also hit each of their routines.
DAGEN DUO
• Sisters Lacy Dagen and Madi Dagen have been perfect so far in 2020 combining to hit all 25 routines they've performed.
• Lacy earned her second straight beam title last week against Stanford posting a career-best 9.975 to lead the team to a season-best 49.375 on the event.
• Madi secured her first event title of the season against Stanford scoring a career-high 9.90 on the vault completing the first Yurchenko 1 1/2 of her career.
LAST WEEK AGAINST STANFORD
• Oregon State defeated Stanford on Sunday registering season-bests on three events, for the second week in a row, notching a season-high 196.825.
• As a team, the Beavers tallied season-highs of 49.050 on vault, 49.375 on beam and 49.475 on the floor.
• OSU gymnasts also secured event titles on three events - Madi Dagen scored 9.90 on the vault to win the title, while Lacy Dagen posted a 9.975 on the beam and Isis Lowery notched a 9.975 on the floor, all career-highs.

• All four of OSU's lineups are ranked among the top 40 in the nation. The balance beam lineup is the highest ranked for the Beavers tied at No. 9 (49.090 season average). Floor is tied for 16th (49.070), uneven bars is tied for No. 30 (48.670), and vault is No. 33 (48.765).
• Oregon State has 'hit' 112 out of 120 (93.3%) routines in 2020 ... in comparison, the Beavers 'hit' 313 out of 336 (93.2%) routines last season.
• Through five meets, OSU's routine production breakdown looks like this: Seniors have performed 51 of 120 routines in 2020 (42.5%), juniors have produced 27 of 120 (22.5%), sophomores 24 of 120 (20.0%) and freshmen 18 of 120 (15.0%).

• Ten of OSU's 15 regular season opponents on the 2020 schedule are currently ranked in the top 36, including six in the top 12.

• The gymnastics team posted a 3.4667 grade point average during the fall term ... the squad carries a cumulative GPA of 3.3664.

• In addition, senior Alyssa Minyard is back after missing the 2019 season due to injury.

• OSU advanced to the postseason for the 45th consecutive season.
• Oregon State hosted the NCAA Corvallis Regionals in April as the third seed. The Beavers finished second in the second round of regionals and then hit all 24 of their routines at Regional Finals to knock out top-seeded Florida advancing to NCAA Championships in Fort Worth.
• OSU concluded the season with a sixth-place finish at NCAA Championships.
• All four of OSU's lineups were ranked among the top 20 in the nation. The floor lineup was the highest ranked for the Beavers at No. 10 (49.370 national qualifying score), while the vault (49.140) ranked No. 15, balance beam (49.160) was No. 16 and the uneven bars lineup tied for 20th (49.145).
• Oregon State 'hit' 313 out of 336 (93.2%) routines in 2019 ... the Beavers counted three falls in 2019.

In November, four gymnasts made official commitments to join the Oregon State gymnastics program for the 2020-21 academic year. Sydney Gonzales (Newport Beach, Calif.), Kaitlyn Hoiland (Kent, Wash.), Anna Yeates (Roseville, Calif.) and Ariana Young (San Mateo, Calif.) are scheduled to enroll at Oregon State this coming summer ... last week, the Beavers received a fifth commitment from Julia Melchert (Puyallup, Wash.) to also join the program in the fall ... in addition, 2018 signee Jade Carey (Phoenix, Ariz.), who has deferred her enrollment to train for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics still plans to join the Beavers in time for the 2021 season.

In November, four gymnasts made official commitments to join the Oregon State gymnastics program for the 2020-21 academic year. Sydney Gonzales (Newport Beach, Calif.), Kaitlyn Hoiland (Kent, Wash.), Anna Yeates (Roseville, Calif.) and Ariana Young (San Mateo, Calif.) are scheduled to enroll at Oregon State this coming summer ... last week, the Beavers received a fifth commitment from Julia Melchert (Puyallup, Wash.) to also join the program in the fall ... in addition, 2018 signee Jade Carey (Phoenix, Ariz.), who has deferred her enrollment to train for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics still plans to join the Beavers in time for the 2021 season.
