Beavers To Battle No. 16 Buffaloes Saturday

Oregon State rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to win the first meeting this season, 76-68, at the CU Events Center. Ethan Thompson had 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists, and Zach Reichle scored a career-high 19 points.

The Beavers won the first meeting last season, 76-74, on Jan. 31 in Boulder. Tres Tinkle finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, and Ethan Thompson added 14 points. Colorado won the second meeting last season in the Pac-12 Tournament, 73-58, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tres Tinkle scored 23 points in the loss.

AMONG THE PAC-12's ELITE: Tres Tinkle needs 65 points to pass Gary Payton and become the all-time leading scorer in Oregon State history. Tinkle recently moved into the top 10 on the Pac-12 career scoring list.
