Beavers Fall To No. 16 Colorado

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State lost to No. 16 Colorado, 69-47, on Saturday night at Gill Coliseum.

Ethan Thompson led the Beavers (15-10, 5-8 Pac-12) with 17 points. He also had five rebounds, four assists, one blocked shot and two steals.

Tres Tinkle scored 10 points, his 90th consecutive game in double figures, a new Oregon State record. He also had a season-high 13 rebounds and three steals. Mel Counts previously held the record with 89 straight games in double figures from 1961-64.

The Buffaloes (20-6, 9-4 Pac-12) were led by Tyler Bey, who finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds. McKinley Wright also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.

The Beavers will play their next three games on the road, beginning with a stop in Tucson to face Arizona at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday.
