CORVALLIS, Ore. ā The No. 15 Oregon State women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday evening, falling to Utah 85-79 at Gill Coliseum.
Ā
"It's hard to lose, but you have to give your opponent a lot of credit when they play so well," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "I thought Utah played great today. They turned us over, got Ā in transition and they just kept coming. A lot of credit to them for executing down the stretch. I was really pleased with the way our team battled to the end, but Utah just made the plays to win the game."

Ā
As a team, the Beavers shot 44.6 percent from the floor.
