CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State baseball team, recently ranked 25th nationally in the USA Today Coaches Poll, held its first team practice Friday in preparation for the 2020 opener on Feb. 14 against New Mexico.
The Beavers worked out for approximately three hours at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field under mostly sunny skies and 55 degree temperatures. Part of the workout included a scrimmage as set forth by Pat Casey Head Baseball Coach Mitch Canham, who is in his first year leading the Beavers. Canham played at Oregon State from 2004-07.
