Carson Barry Named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State sophomore Carson Barry was named the Pac-12 Golfer of the Month, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Barry, a native of Eagle, Idaho, helped lead the Beavers to back-to-back tournament titles in October.
The first came at the Hamptons Intercollegiate where Barry finished in a tie for second place with a 5-over 221 79-70-72--221.
The second came at the Oregon State Invitational where Barry won his first career individual title with a career-best 11-under 66-69-67--202. The 5-under 66 in the first round was a career best.
Barry has fired eight sub-par scores in his 10 rounds this season. He had two scores in red figures in 16 rounds last year as a freshman.
He has a scoring average of 70.70 this season after posting a 76.19 as a frosh.
Barry is the first Oregon State men's student-athlete to be named the Pac-12 Golfer of the Month.
