• After two weeks at home, Oregon State (8-7, 2-2 Pac-12) goes on the road to visit the State of Washington this week.
• OSU meets No. 11 Washington (11-3, 2-2) on Friday at 7 p.m. in Seattle.
• The Beavers then cross the state to take on No. 24 Washington State at 12 p.m. on Sunday in Pullman.

AGAINST THE HUSKIES
• The Beavers trail the all-time series with the Huskies 24-63. OSU lost its only meeting with UW in 2018 in a five set contest. However, The Beavers swept the season series with the Huskies in 2017 including registering their first win against the Dawgs since 2001.
AGAINST THE COUGARS
• OSU trails the series with WSU 44-49. The Beavers lost their only matchup with the Cougars of 2018 in three sets. Like the Huskies, OSU swept the season series with the Cougars in 2017 making it a clean sweep of the Washington schools for the first time since 1984.
LAST WEEK
• After opening the Pac-12 slate with a 2-0, the Beavers went 0-2 last weekend falling to then-No. 19 California and then-No. 3 Stanford in straight sets.
• Chloe Brown paced the Beavers' offense against the Bears with 11 kills while Maddie Sheehan dug out a team-high 10 digs.
• Against the Cardinal, OSU ran a 6-2 system with Montanna Gubrud and Amy Underdown each making their first starts of the season. Underdown tallied a team-high 11 kills and Grace Massey collected 18 digs while Kory Cheshire recorded five blocks to lead the Beavers' defense.
DIGGING THROUGH THE RECORD BOOKS
• Early in the preseason, junior libero Grace Massey moved into OSU's Top 10 in history. She has since moved up to seventh in OSU history with 1,239. She needs two digs to tie Kristy Wing (1988-91) for sixth.
• Massey, who entered the season with 993 digs, became the 16th player in OSU history to amass 1,000 career digs during the first match of the season, against UC Irvine at the Oregon Classic.
• Junior outside hitter Maddie Goings has also moved into the Beavers' top 30 with 736 career digs, 26th in school history
SETTING THE OFFENSE
• Sophomore setter Maddie Sheehan became the 13th player in school history to register 1,000 career assists.
• Sheehan has moved into 10th place all-time at OSU and currently has 1,427 career assists. Most recently, Sheehan moved past McKenna Hollingsworth and Christine Wilson and needs 338 to tie Kristy Wing (1988-91) for ninth in OSU history.
• Senior setter Montanna Gubrud, who transferred into the program in 2018, set an OSU career-high with 33 assists in the Beavers' win over Yale at the Hoosier Invite.
GOINGS IS KILLING IT
• Junior Maddie Goings, who moved to the right side to begin the season, leads the team with 2.96 kills per set (133 total).
• Goings registered 56 kills at the Hoosier Invite for a 4.67 k/s clip en route to earning all-tournament honors.
• Goings now has 847 kills in her career which ranks 21st in OSU history. She needs 39 to tie Helen Hoonhout (teammate Haylie Bennett's mother) for 20th place.
CHESHIRE HAS NUMBERS TOO
• Senior middle blocker Kory Cheshire is moving up the Beavers' career blocks lists this fall.
• Cheshire currently has 271 total blocks in her career ranking 15th in OSU history. She needs six blocks to tie Tami Good (1984-87) and seven to tie former teammate Maddy Gravley (2015-18) for 13th and 14th on the Beavers' all-time list.
• In addition, Cheshire has 221 block assists to rank 15th. She needs three more to tie Abby Windell (2003-06) and six to tie Shelly Smith (1991-94).
• And she is up to 50 career solo blocks to rank 20th in school history. She needs two solos to tie Lexie Rathgeber (2006-09) for 19th.
CLARKE COMES THROUGH IN CLUTCH
• Redshirt senior Shekinah Clarke was called upon for the first time in 2019 at the Redhawk Invitational when the Beavers were decimated by injuries. Clarke came through with a team-leading, and career-high, 15 kills in her first start against New Mexico to lead the squad to a come from behind five-set win.
• Clarke went on to tally another 19 kills in the next two matches helping the Beavers to a 3-0 record over the weekend (9/13-14).
• Was named to the Redhawk Invitational All-Tournament Team.
• Last week, Clarke was forced into a defensive specilist-type role due to injury. She posted a career-best 13 digs in the win over Colorado (9/27).
• In an unrelated note, Clarke's brother, Onesimus, made his first career start at left guard over the same weekend for the Beavers' football team -- a win over Cal Poly that Saturday (9/14).
ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAMS
• Oregon Classic - New starting outside hitters Chloe Brown and Cecilee Max-Brown were named ot the Oregon Classic All-Tournament Team in their OSU debuts. Brown led the Beavers with 12 and 13 kills respectively and registered the first double-double of her career.
• Hoosier Invite - Maddie Goings set a career-high with 26 kills against Oklahoma and totaled 56 in the Beavers' trip to Indiana. Goings was named to the all-tournament team.
• Redhawk Invitational - Kory Cheshire garnered MVP honors and Shekinah Clarke earned an all-tournament nod as the Beavers swept the competition. Cheshire set a career-high with 17 kills against Gonzaga and 23 digs against New Mexico, while Clarke registered a career-high 15 kills against the Lobos.
