TUCSON, Ariz. - Tres Tinkle posted a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds in an 82-71 loss to Arizona on Saturday night.

The Beavers (11-6, 3-2 Pac-12) cut a 12-point deficit to 61-58 before Arizona (14-5, 5-1) extended the lead back to double figures.

Ethan Thompson scored 17 points to join Tinkle in double figures. Alfred Hollins and Stephen Thompson Jr. added seven points apiece.

Oregon State shot 51.0 percent from the field.

Brandon Williams scored 20 points to lead five Arizona player in double figures.

The Wildcats went 13 for 27 from the arc and snagged 21 offensive boards, leading to 28 second-chance points.
