Luke Heimlich struck out 11 in 8 2/3 innings and Michael Gretler went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI to pace the Beavers to a 6-2 series-opening win over ASU on Friday. Heimlich earned his 10th win of the season after scattering five hits and two runs in his 11th appearance of the season.
