Last Game
Luke Heimlich struck out 11 in 8 2/3 innings and Michael Gretler went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI to pace the Beavers to a 6-2 series-opening win over ASU on Friday. Heimlich earned his 10th win of the season after scattering five hits and two runs in his 11th appearance of the season.

Cadyn Grenier bunted home a run via a single in the third. The bunt single extended his hit streak to 13 games, putting him one shy of tying Andy Armstrong for the longest on the team this season.

Win Streak
Oregon State's win Friday marked the Beavers' seventh over Arizona State, which extends the team's longest in the series. Four of the seven wins have come at Goss Stadium.
