Beavers Set to Compete in Bay Area Meets

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State track & field team heads to the Bay Area this weekend to compete in the Stanford Invitational and the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.
There will be live results available for both meets, with the Stanford Invitational offering a live stream. Links will be available on the schedule page.
The distance contingent will be in action at both meets this weekend. Most of the group making the trip had a warmup last week at the Willamette Invitational, but a couple Beavers are making their outdoor debut; junior Juliana Mount (5,000 meters) and sophomore Sara Christianson (1,500 meters).
Ann Wingeleth is set to make her outdoor debut as well. The transfer is slated to compete in the 100 meters at SFSU, and the long jump at Stanford.
The Beavers have already set seven all-time marks or times this outdoor season with two school records. Destiny Dawson set the school record in the javelin, while Jessica Molina notched the best hammer throw in school history.
